The homepage keeps the calculator fast by showing a curated set of popular assets. This directory keeps the full list in one place, with quick links back into the calculator using your current amount and time horizon.
What is included
The list covers major crypto assets, broad US market benchmarks, widely followed stocks, sector ETFs, bond ETFs, and gold. It is not meant to be every tradable symbol on the internet. The goal is a clean comparison set for common "what if I bought" questions, with enough variety to show how very different assets behaved over the same period.
Every market card links back to the calculator with the current amount and horizon preserved in the URL. That keeps the directory useful for research: search for a ticker, open the scenario, then compare the result with the full leaderboard or one of the pre-written market guides.
How the directory is organized
Crypto and gold use Binance market data where available. Stocks, ETFs, and indices use Yahoo Finance data through the site's cached API, with a bundled snapshot as a fallback for local/static browsing. Stock and ETF prices use adjusted closes where the upstream source provides them, so splits and dividends do not create misleading jumps.
Source labels are deliberately plain. "LIVE" means the asset is fed by the live crypto price route. "YF" means the asset uses Yahoo Finance history through the cache. If a provider is temporarily unavailable, the calculator may fall back to the latest bundled snapshot so the page remains usable, and the methodology page explains what that means for accuracy.
