By using WHAT IF (the "Site") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site. The short version: this is an informational and entertainment tool, the numbers are estimates based on real market data, and nothing here is financial advice.

1. What the Site does

WHAT IF lets you estimate what a hypothetical past purchase of an asset (such as a cryptocurrency, gold, or a stock index) would be worth today, based on historical and live prices. All results are hypothetical and for illustration only.

2. No advice, no reliance

Nothing on the Site constitutes financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell anything. You are solely responsible for your own decisions. Before acting, consult a licensed professional who understands your situation. Past performance is not indicative of future results.

3. Accuracy of data

Prices and history come from third-party public sources and may be delayed, incomplete, cached, or inaccurate. Calculations make simplifying assumptions and exclude trading fees, spreads, slippage, taxes, staking, dividends, and other real-world costs. We do not warrant that any figure is accurate, current, or complete. Do not rely on the Site for trading or financial decisions.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to (a) misuse, overload, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the Site or its data providers; (b) use the Site for unlawful purposes; or (c) present its output as professional advice to others.

5. Intellectual property

The WHAT IF name, design, text, and code are owned by us or our licensors. Market data belongs to its respective providers. You may share screenshots and links for personal, non-commercial use. Asset logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only; their appearance does not imply any endorsement.

6. Third-party links and ads

The Site contains advertising (via Google AdSense) and may link to third-party sites. We don't control and aren't responsible for third-party content, products, or practices. 7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WHAT IF and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages — including investment or trading losses — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site, even if advised of the possibility. Your sole remedy is to stop using the Site.

We may modify the Site or these terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.

These terms are interpreted in good faith. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law.
